Privacy Policy

What I collect

I only collect the details you choose to send me through my contact form:

• your name, and your business name if you give one;
• your email address and/or phone number;
• your message and your preferred way to be contacted;
• if you ask me to call you, the time slot you pick.

I don’t ask for, or want, any more than that.

Why I collect it

I use these details solely to reply to your enquiry and, where you’ve asked for one, to prepare a quote or arrange work. The lawful bases are your consent and my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me, and taking steps at your request before entering into any agreement.

How your information is handled

When you send the form, your enquiry is emailed to me so I can respond. If you book a call, the details you provide are stored in my booking system so I can hold your slot and avoid double-booking. My website, email and booking system all run on Cloudflare, which processes this data on my behalf and on my instructions.

Who I share it with

I do not sell your information, and I do not share it with anyone for marketing. The only third party that handles it is the service provider above, acting as my processor to run the site and deliver your message to me.

Cookies & local storage

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing it stores in your browser is your chosen colour theme, kept in local storage so the site remembers your preference on your next visit. That stays on your device and is never sent to me.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry details only for as long as I need them to deal with your enquiry and for my ordinary business records, then delete them. Call-slot bookings are removed once the booking has passed and is no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how I use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To do any of these, just email nathan@cowins.co.uk. If you’re not happy with how I’ve handled your data, you can also complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page, with the “last updated” date above reflecting the most recent version.
